VinCense is a pioneering Wireless Health Monitoring System (WHMS). It maintains a close watch over the vital parameters of patients, chronic disease sufferers, working population and senior citizens. Each patient gets to wear a device on his or her wrist, like a watch. This wearable device transmits data to an online system using an Android mobile device of the patient, such as a smartphone or tablet
VinCense has been developed for use by doctors, patients, senior citizens, working population etc for spotcheck and remote monitoring of their vitals
If you are a doctor, you can entrust the monitoring of all your patients simultaneously to VinCense. You can monitor your patients remotely from wherever you are, if you are connected to the Internet.
If you live alone, you can employ VinCense to maintain a watch over your vital parameters, and in an emergency you can call for help at the press of a button If you are an employer, then you can use VinCense for pre screening your employees to check fitness for duty and for periodic spotcheck of their vitals for occupational health compliance.
VinCense has been developed for use in all hospital settings, homes, industries, home health care centres etc.
You need to have a reliable WiFi or data connection to use VinCense
VinCense uses sophisticated electronics and communication technology. Respiratory rate, heart rate, temperature and SpO2 levels are measured very accurately and relayed through a mobile device to a database maintained in the cloud. VinCense raises alerts immediately when the value of any of these parameters crosses user-defined limits. VinCense also maintains a record of the parameters. This record may be studied using a user-centric Web interface

Could be due to improper strapping/placement of cuff
Could be improper coin cell placement in the holder or not enough blood on the strip.
Ensure that the weighing scale is kept on a flat surface and stand steadily until reading appears
Solution : Due to RF Interference in different channels, we recommend you to allocate a particular channels for good internet connectivity and data loss. The channels including Channel No. 1, 6, and 11. ( contact your Networking team)

The wearable and the mobile device may be separated by a distance of up to 30 feet, and VinCense will still work.
Good question, doctor. You need to carry out a simple initialisation procedure each time you transfer the VinCense wearable to a new patient/user.
No, each wearable has to be associated with a unique smartphone. However you can connect eight devices to a single BLE gateway device provided the devices are all used in the same ward/room without obstruction.
VinCense uses SSL, the standard security technology, to establish an encrypted link between the mobile device and a server. The data remain private. VinCense also uses an application-level firewall. Thus data are provided only when requests are deemed ‘clean’.
The VinCense wearable is water resistant. It has been designed for compliance with the IP 42 rating, and certification is being applied for. This rating indicates that a certified device is protected against splashing water from any direction
Yes. It uses a rechargeable battery. The charging time will be 50 to 60 minutes.
VinCense is powered by DC LIPO Battery. It takes upto 3000 readings per charge in screening mode.
The wearable has a 24-hour data logging facility to handle such situations. Once the connection is restored, the stored data are uploaded automatically.
The ambient temperature can be anything in the range from -20°C to 55°C.
VinCense has a hypoallergenic construction and is made of biocompatible materials. The casing is non-reactive to commonly used antiseptics and disinfecting agents.
- Can VinCense function without a smartphone?
- I am facing connectivity issues with the mobile/ tab.
- What mobile devices are compatible with VinCense?
No. A smartphone is needed for using VinCense.
The connectivity issue may occur when the phone memory is full. Clear the cache memory and remove unwanted apps in the phone.
VinCense works with Android 9 and above. The phone must be bluetooth 4.1 enabled as well.
- How many devices can be monitored at a time from the Web interface?
- Why the data is not getting updated in the cloud immediately?
- We are unable to access the website in the local/corporate network?
There is no limit to the number of wearables, that is, users, who can be monitored
It may be due to poor network. The app has data logging facility, it backups the data and updates it automatically to the cloud when the connection is restored. Hence there will be no data loss.
